Real Estate Market Conference

On March 20, 2024, the 2nd edition of the Real Estate Market conference took place in Prague with the subtitle Sustainable construction as an investment opportunity. As part of the program, interesting presentations, engaging and factual debates took place in the presence of representatives of the state administration and consulting companies, architects and leading manufacturers of building materials.

On behalf of AGC Flat Glass Czech, the conference was attended by Pavel Hotový, who spoke in the discussion panel with the subtitle "Paths to emission-free buildings". The topic was the correct architectural design of the building, so that the properties of the selected building materials were fully utilized and it was not necessary to replace their functions with other technologies. There was a discussion about the correct design of glazing according to the orientation of the facade according to the cardinal points, then about production with added value and finally about the current topic of sustainability from the point of view of Low Carbon Glass and the unique Volta project - the construction of a hybrid furnace for the production of flat glass.
